This candidate will help students learn about Art and apply higher order thinking skills. This teacher will be required to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program and to evaluate student development. The teacher performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Salary will vary based on certification and years of service. Qualifications: BS/BA Degree in Art Education. Florida Department of Education K-12 teaching certificate for Art. Experience in teaching Elementary and Middle School Art preferred. Strong presentation skills with the use of innovative instructional technologies. Proficiency with interactive boards, MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Excellent oral and written English-language communication skills, including clear speaking voice. Supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred.
