This is a short-term assignment until end of the year

Pay: $24.02/hr

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm

This position is ONSITE in Alpharetta, GA , MUST be able to commute to Alpharetta, GA

What’s a typical day as Financial Analyst? You’ll be:
- Preparing month-end close activities, including analysis of financial information to create journal entries that impact the financial condition of the company, with some supervision.
- Analyzing budget vs. actual comparisons for responsible departments to ensure accurate financial information and provide management with insights on future activities.
- Utilizing your analytical skills and professional accounting knowledge to assist department managers and investment project leaders in the creation of six budget events per year.
- Creating presentations to advise department leaders on budget to actual conditions and making recommendations for areas of improvement.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree with a major in accounting or finance, or an Associate's degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting-related role.
- Have 0-2 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 2 years with an Associate's degree.
- Possess a solid understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and cost accounting, along with strong analytical, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Are proficient in Microsoft products (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and have knowledge of SAP. Company Description
