The opportunity

Delaware North Gaming is hiring a full-time Security Officer to join our team at Gate City Casino in Nashua, New Hampshire. Full-time security officer for the 3:00pm-11:00pm shift

Pay $20.00 - $24.00 / hour

What will you do?

• Ensure that identification is checked for proper admittance to the gaming floor 
• Conduct cash escorts as required
• Observe, handle, and report procedural violations and illegal activity
• Operate a motorized vehicle when necessary
• Maintain crowd control as required
• Defuse guest profanity and handle issues or complaints professionally

More about you

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Prior Law Enforcement/Security experience preferred but not mandatory
• Must be able to be licensed by State Gaming Commission
• Ability to defuse difficult and sometimes emotionally charged situations when handling guest issues or complaints
• Ability to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times 

Physical requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to communicate through two way radio
• Bending, stooping, lifting and carrying occasionally
• Vision sufficient to perform duties day or night
• Exposure to smoky areas, loud noises/environment, and bright/flashing lights
